ASD Family Camp: Connection, Openness, Trust

Campers doing archery at Camp Coolamatong

Camp was amazing! The kids had an absolute ball, enjoying all the activities and the leaders were fantastic. Campers encouraged other campers to read the Bible and pray in their cabin groups. Girls from Christian backgrounds found others with similar experiences and shared together. Campers were having an impact on other campers!

As leaders, we saw God change the hearts of the campers as we prayed together with them. This change was reflected in their attitudes and actions as they engaged with each other.

One boy came to camp reluctant to join the Bible engagement sessions, his friend kept inviting him in, encouraging him to give it a go. By the end of the week he was engaging and his friend was asking about joining a youth group! Quite a few campers asked for Bibles to take home with them.
