Being Present in Our Community
SUFM’s been running in Apollo Bay for 70 years! Unable to run our regular program, we still wanted demonstrate our love to families and the community. Our small team produced a daily video with lots of laughs, puppets, Bible stories, questions to ponder, and craft activities on our Facebook page (BeachOut Apollo Bay SUFM). In the afternoon we ran outdoor group games and activities, allowing us to reconnect with our regular participants. We tried new things and learnt how to engage children with Jesus story in new ways. We’re now thinking about how we include some of these new activities as we plan for next year…
