I do what I do because I love it. I love camping because of the natural beauty of what God has made, the technicalities of being safe, the journey experience and the privilege of being able to share this with other people in such a way that they grow and are enlightened to some aspect of God in their lives and in the world.
I started with SU in 2002 with multiple roles, the main being Southern Melbourne regional worker, but also coordinating the Community Based Adventure Camps and some Website development. In 2004 I became the Camps Coordinator which incorporates the Community Based Adventure Camps.
I am married to Yvonne and we have two little girls, Esther and Jasmine. We love going camping (funny enough) and doing things together. I’m a keen white water kayaker, skier, sailor and bushwalker. I also play canoe polo on a regular basis. From time to time the geek in me emerges and I delve into electronics and computers.
