Mission Aims

In partnership with the churches:

to make God’s Good News known to children, their families and young people
so they are able to respond to God, become followers of Jesus and connected with an on-going Christian faith community

Our Ministry is based on a theology which emphasizes

the value of each person in the sight of God
as God draws people to himself, we invite them to respond to the gospel in ways appropriate to their age and background

SU and the Bible

All Mission programs are biblically based
SU takes into account the different ways children, young people and adults learn and their varied interests. This helps them make the connection between their world and the Bible
SU aims to allow children and young people to explore the Bible for themselves, rather than simply telling them what it means

Aunt Emily's African Animals

For teachers of infants and pre-schoolers, this is a wonderful holiday or session program in which Ryan the Lion, Myrtle the Turtle and a host of animals introduce the children to a whole new world. Tried and recommended by many schools already, the program includes stories, much-loved animal characters, activities and songs, Bible links - and photocopy permission.
