Mission Aims
In partnership with the churches:
- to make God’s Good News known to children, their families and young people
- so they are able to respond to God, become followers of Jesus and connected with an on-going Christian faith community
Our Ministry is based on a theology which emphasizes
- the value of each person in the sight of God
- as God draws people to himself, we invite them to respond to the gospel in ways appropriate to their age and background
SU and the Bible
- All Mission programs are biblically based
- SU takes into account the different ways children, young people and adults learn and their varied interests. This helps them make the connection between their world and the Bible
- SU aims to allow children and young people to explore the Bible for themselves, rather than simply telling them what it means
