SU Missions

More information on the Missions Department
Every year, more than 600 team members take part in frontline mission, all across towns in Victoria. For 5-14 days, in a variety of holiday locations, rural and urban settings, SUFM and Theos teams connect with around 7,000 children, teenagers, young people and families, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Scripture Union Family Missions or SUFMs are programs aimed at children and teenagers. Through singing silly songs, watching dramas, heaps of art and craft, joining in crazy games and epic activities, and engaging with the Bible, children, teens and families have fun learning more about God.
Theos run programs catered for teenagers and young people, and give them the opportunity to get to know more about God through hanging out in a safe and cool place, listening to music, eating food, playing sport, and talking about stuff that matters to them.
Our volunteers are equipped by Scripture Union Victoria, and are sent out by their local churches.
Most SUFM and Theos programs take place in January, and some programs also run throughout the year. For more details check out where and when our programs operate.
Short term missional communities require a wide range of people and gifts. Want to be part of the action?
