BREAKFAST CLUBS

Starting the day with good nutrition and positive interaction can have an enormous impact on a child’s educational performance and the life of the school community. Breakfast clubs are a great way of serving the local community and partnering with local schools. Check out the brochure to find out more.

 

CHIC

CHIC is a program to support young women between the ages of 11 and 15 as they develop, learn and grow. Through a variety of challenging and fun activities and discussions, participants explore issues including identity, self-worth, respect for others, relationships, bullying, social justice and conflict resolution. BLOKES

Blokes supports young men between the ages of 12 and 15 to develop positive relationships and think critically about their own life and choices that lie ahead. Through a variety of challenging and fun activities and discussions, participants explore issues including identity, values, beliefs, aspirations, purpose, decision-making, relationships, self-image, non-violence, communication and social responsibility. SCHOOL GARDENING CLUBS

Schools Garden Clubs are designed to help young people grow. Through hands-on gardening activities and volunteer mentoring, students develop positive interpersonal, physical and academic skills. LEADING EDGE GLOBAL CLASSROOM

Global Classroom aims to empower all young people to recognise their leadership potential and to experience making a difference. Using their passions, they organise a project that makes a difference in their school community or world.

 

COOL DOWN

Cool Down is a 6 week small-group program aimed at middle-school students (years 5-8). The program creates a safe space in which to explore anger issues and practice self-management and communication skills through fun activities. Click here for more information.

SOAR ADVENTURES

SOAR is an adventure-based learning program. Soar assists young people to transition into adulthood with effective leadership and relational skills. It aims to empower students to improve their self-perception and achieve success. SOAR is designed by SU and run in partnership with schools and local churches.
