Holiday Camps
Summer camps
SU has been running diverse and innovative school and holiday camps in Victoria for over fifty years. Our camps have made profound positive impacts on the lives of hundreds of children, young people and families.
All our camps are run by highly committed volunteers who give their time and money to support each camp.
Please note. Currently our website is charging $5.95 for postage and handling. Until we work out how to fix this please precede and this amount will be reimbursed. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Family camps
There are three Coolamatong Family camps at the farm to choose from this summer. Children and parents of all ages and stages are welcome to attend.
These camps offer you a great opportunity to relax, make new friends, be part of a community, enjoy yummy food and discover just how good God is.
Some of the exciting and creative activities available include horse riding, canoeing, mountain bike riding, various craft options, ropes course, sailing, cooking in a bush kitchen, a day trip on a launch to the 90 Mile Beach and more.
Costs cover all accommodation (in comfortable 2-8 bed cabins), food and activities.

Coolamatong
Coolamatong is SU’s campsite and is located on the Banksia Peninsula on the Gippsland Lakes not far from Paynesville. There are two camp sites at Coolamatong - the Farm Camp and the Lake Camp. All our family camps will be at the Farm Camp and all the age group camps at the Lake Camp. More about Coolamatong.
What age group camp is appropriate?
The year level listed for a specific camp is for those that have just completed that year level.
i.e. If your child had just completed grade 6 in 2008 the grade 5-6 camp is the appropriate camp for your child in January 2009.
Can’t afford the fees?
We do everything possible to keep the cost of our camps low (even our leaders have to pay). But we know they are still out of reach for some people. If you would like to attend one of our camps but fees make it difficult please contact the booking secretary for the camp you wish to attend. You can then be sent a form to apply for a subsidy.
SU is a Registered Child Care Provider
You may be eligible for a rebate (via Family Assistance Office) for sending your child on an age group camp. For more info see http://www.familyassist.gov.au/internet/fao/fao1.nsf/content/payments-ccb-how_much-what_registered_care.htm
Safety
We use Childsafe as our safety and care system to ensure that our people and activities are safe.
