No one likes Jesus!
I was reading Mark Chapter 2. Jesus does some great things but no one’s happy about it…
I was reading Mark Chapter 2 today. Jesus does some good stuff: He heals 2 people and changes Levi’s life forever….but no one’s happy about it.

Jesus Heals a Paralytic: (Mark 2:1-12): Jesus heals a man but the Religious Leaders got upset because he was forgiving sins.
The Calling of Levi (Mark 2:13-17) Jesus calls Levi to follow him, Levi’s life is dramatically changed but the Religious Leaders are upset that Jesus is mixing with the wrong crowd.
Jesus Questioned About Fasting (Mark 2:18-22): Now they’re complaining Jesus isn’t fasting properly like the Religious Leaders do.
Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:23-28) Now he’s in trouble for not following the sabbath day like the Religious Leaders do.
Jesus heals man’s hand (Mark 3:1-6) Jesus heals on the sabbath, The religious leaders are angry because he’s misused the sabbath and Verse 6 says: “Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus”
When you see God working do you feel the need to find a problem? Do you care more about keeping rules then seeing God work before your eyes. The problem with deception is it’s deceiving, I’m sure the religious leaders were convinced they were in the right!
